Back at SHOT 2011 we reported on the Glock beavertail backstraps for Gen4 pistols.

Well, now it’s SHOT 2013, and the backstraps are supposedly finally coming out of R&D to the market sometime this year. My Glock buddy had to ask four other associates where they were, and they were hidden away in a cabinet at the booth. Not sure why it was treated like some top secret item, but anyway, it sounds like we’ll finally see them this year.
