Inspired by the infamous shovel-AK photo, a member of the Northeastshooters forum converted a $2 shovel into an AK rifle!

The barrel is made from a $30 AK barrel blank. Boris did not bother machining it down to the standard AK profile, instead he just cut it down to 16.25″ in length and drilled a hole for the gas block (which he then welded on). The end result is a rifle which would look the part in any post-apocalyptic movie. To quote the Old Testament …
