A bit of advice for anyone purchasing this gun. Dry fire it several times before buying it. I just got one from Wholesale Sports, shot several rounds through it, and the AccuTrigger safety assembly malfunctioned not allowing the gun to be fired at all. The factory said they are having some issues with it. Really bummed. Wanted to use it this weekend on a varmint hunt.

I purchased the Predator Hunter in .223 Rem.
It's a good shooter, the action does not handle the fired cartridges very well at all. The bolt has a simple spring that pushes on the edge of the casing as it's being extracted and most of the time it falls into the action instead of being thrown free if the rifle. No good....

@Joseph I have had this extraction problem with model 10's before. In all cases it was the extractor "claw" if you will, not holding onto the case rim good enough. A good cleaning and lube of the spring and ball under the extractor fixed it most of the time. However in one case (on my 223) the edge of the extractor was worn down and not a nice sharp square edge anymore. I replaced it and all was good to go after that. Hope this helps
