This allows civilians to purchase a short barreled configuration where previously they were limited to the 16" carbines. The military and law enforcement the select-fire pistol version makes for a compact and controllable PDW.

The SRB/SO features a 5.5″ barrel and weight 5.6 lbs when unloaded.
