To all my readers and fellow bloggers and writers, I wish you a very merry Christmas and New Year. This year has been a real blast and I could not have done it without you!
I will be taking a break from blogging for a few days and will resume blogging on 2 January.
Ed's Public Safety, a dealer that which calls itself "Georgia's #1 GLOCK Dealer and GLOCK Law Enforcement Distributor", has published photos of the Glock 22 Gen4. I am sure Glock's PR people are pretty annoyed right about now!
So just to summarize all the point about the Glock Gen4 ...

Since the last time I wrote about the Australian International Arms M-10 Lee Enfield clone the company has expanded their product line, secured a EU importer (Polish firm LD Diana) and may be exporting to the US in the near future.
I was very surprised to learn that they had listed a US export model on their website. American Enfield fans have long been waiting to get their hands on the rifle. Because parts of the rifle were made in Vietnam importing it stateside would be illegal. If AIA are truly gearing up to export to the United States they must be manufacturing at least the export model elsewhere.
7.62x51mm No.4 Mk 4 - Blued US export model
No.4 Mk 4 (7.62mm NATO)
No.4 & No.4(T) rifle configuration, 10-rd.
Parkerized finish on standard model.
Adjustable frontsight, elevation & windage, dual rear aperture at 200, 400m.
Provision for steel Picatinny rail to fit telescopic sight.

The controversial Kimber SIS Custom .45 1911 line of pistols will be discontinued in the New Year. From Kimber1911pistols.com ...
Note: the SIS family is discontinued as of January 1, 2010. Kimber will ship outstanding orders but they will not take orders on the SIS line after 1/1. If you want one, don’t wait too long or they will be unavailable!
The pistol was designed by the LAPD's elite Special Investigation Section who adopted it as their duty weapon. Kimber donated a portion of each sale to the LAPD Memorial Fund.
Massad Ayoob wrote about the SIS pistols in Guns Magazine ...
... News that a weapon is being marketed with an 'SIS' serration--a clear reference to the LAPD--was met with criticism from city and civil rights leaders. 'It is very disturbing,' said Councilman Jack Weiss. 'If any member of the public is shot with one of these guns or, heaven forbid, a cop is shot with one of these arts, what would be the explanation?'
...
You see, the guns weren't just named after SIS, LAPD's Special Investigation Section, they were designed by SIS members. Staffed by creme de la creme street-proven detectives with extra-intense training in armed police combat ...
At SHOT '08 Ruger unveiled the Ruger LCP pistol and in '09 we saw the new Tactical Mini-14. So what is in store for us this year?
Michael Bane has already gotten his hands on a new Ruger single action ...
We took the new Ruger to the range today, and it clocked pretty much rave reviews. It safe to say, I suppose, that the gun is a revolver and it is a single action. A nice gun!
My guess is a Ruger Vaquero chambered in .22 LR. It would be very popular Cowboy Action shooters, with whom the Vaquero is popular.
Caleb spotted a Ruger press release which says that a Mini-30 with 20-round magazines will be available in 2010. What better time to launch it than at SHOT?
The popular Ruger Mini Thirty® rifle is now available with 20-round magazines. Chambered for 7.62×39, the Mini Thirty is an ideal autoloader for deer-sized game. Featuring the reliable action of the Ruger Mini-14® series of rifles first introduced in 1974, the Mini Thirty is simple, rugged and reliable, hallmarks of all Ruger firearms.
It makes perfect sense now that the Mini-14 has factory 20 rounders available.
SaysUncle noticed that a chromed version of the Ruger LCP is listed at Lipseys for $405. This is sure to be at SHOT.
Tam on rifles we may (or may not) see at SHOT.
The Locavore Hunter on cartridges we may (or may not) see at SHOT.
CZ-USA posted photos on Twitter of two CZ 75 P-07 prototypes. The P-07 is the new polymer version of the CZ 75. It introduced earlier this year.
AR-15 aficionados will be pleased to learn that the Knights Armament's SR-15 E3 rifle's uppers and lowers are now avalible for purchase separately.
The lower features a 4.5 lbs two stage match trigger and ambidextrous fire selector, bolt release and magazine release. Knesek Guns have it listed for $700.
The upper features ...
Knesek Guns have it listed for $1310.

Sound off in the comments.

The T48 was the designation of the FN FAL entered into the competition to replace the M1 Garand. The T44 (later called the M14) won the competition but the Marines appear to have kept their quote of T48 rifles. These have been meticulously photographed by an Australian who visited Quantico in 2008.

This video shows the internals of the H&K HK416. One nifty feature is that the handguard screws were designed so that they could be unscrewed using the bolt lugs. The video is well worth watching.
Video was made by GunWebsites.
The civilian HK416 is expected to arrive next year.

I had not heard of the FR-F2 FR-G2 before. It looks like quite a nice bolt-action sniper rifle. More info, and a larger photo, over at GunPundit.
UPDATE: Thanks to Aurélien for the correction on the rifle name.
