Canadian Photographer Kelsow sent us this photo of his CZ 75 SP-O1. The really like this photo, it is dramatic and draws me in. The CZ 75 SP-01 is a all-steel pistol based on the CZ 75 P-01, but with a picatinny rail.
Mark sent us photos of his commercial DWM Luger manufactured in 1909, making it 105 years old.The Reichsbank notes are a nice touch! Alex’s previous TFBTV video is about his 1920 DWM Luger. It well worth watching.
James purchased a Ruger Vaquero for just $25 … a bargain if it had not been underwater for at least a week! He finished it up and apparently it functions “quite well”. He wrote … My Ruger Vaquero that sat underwater for a week or two. Bought [Read More…]
300BlackoutSober from Phoenix sent us this photo. Apparently it “shoots like a dream”. I say that if it shot half as good as it looks it would be a keeper. To my best recollection I have never shot one of these (although I shoot a lot of guns and have a [Read More…]
Sometimes I am simultaneously shaking my head in wonder and hanging in mesmerized shock at this stupidity. The latest culprit to this mental dichotomy is two Russians, who test a bulletproof helmet the old fashioned way… shooting someone wearing it. Now, the [Read More…]

Chuck sent us this photo of his AR-15 pistol (or is it a SBR?) with a Spikes pirate-themed “Jolly Roger” lower receiver. It is chambered in .300 AAC BLK and has a KAK Slim Flash Can. Note the engraving around the fire selector. If you are not familiar with [Read More…]
Week 41. So, I’d like to address the casing type. At this point (with only 11 more weeks of this experiment), adding in any additional vectors would literally double (at the least) the work. Not all of the vendors clearly identify casing which then necessitates [Read More…]
TFB reader BenJamin converted a bolt-action Howa 1500 chambered in .300 Win Mag into a beautiful bullpup that in my mind resembles the rarer-than-unicorns Walther WA 2000, although it was the Keppeler & Fritz KS II Precision that inspired him. BenJamin wrote [Read More…]
We here at TFB are big fans of Bond Arms. I first met Gordon Bond at a media event in Florida, and there he invited me to take a factory tour back home in Texas to see what his company is all about. What I saw was nothing short of amazing; Modern machining technology combined […] Read [Read More…]
Meeee likey (but then again, I like GLOCKs). Lone Wolf Distributing sent out some wonderful photos of their Machine Pattern #4. The new pattern keeps the aggressive cocking serrations, adding some great ribbing to the top of the slide. Description courtesy of LoneWolf: [Read More…]
