Project ChildSafe was launched by NSSF in 1998 to demonstrate the industry’s commitment to safety and responsibility. Our goal is to educate firearms owners on how they can practice safe firearm storage and help prevent firearms accidents, theft and misuse. We also work closely with retailers, ranges, manufacturers and other industry members who want to help promote this important message.
