The Chiappa Rhino may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it sure is unique. It’s odd look comes from the fact that it fires from the bottom chamber to help reduce felt recoil. Earlier this year fellow TFB writer James Reeves reviewed the Chiappa Rhino 200D [Read More…]
The internet is littered with KABOOM reports where the shooter blindy swears it was not fault or his reloads. It takes a real man to admit he made a mistake. A read emailed me with photos of a KABOOM that happened on 4 July. He admits he should not have been shooting [Read More…]

I guess the good part about 300blk is that it uses the same bolt and magazines as a .223/5.56, but the bad part is that is uses the same bolt and magazines as .223/5.56. This happened 12/17/2013 when I was at the range with a buddy doing some recreational shooting. [Read More…]
A TFB reader was shooting reloaded ammunition at the range when his AR-15 blew apart. The case head failed and the escaping gas split the upper receiver in two and blasted all it components out. Fortunately he was uninjured. As always, be very careful when reloading!
