The Black Rain Ordnance BRO Predator 6.5 Creedmoor is a new offering from this Missouri company that continues to build excellent AR15 and AR10 rifles. Black Rain Ordnance just moved into their new 27,000 square foot facility.  They manufacture almost every part of their rifles in-house with the exception of the Magpul Miad grip and PRS stock.

I don’t have to explain to you how popular the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge has become.  I’ll go ahead and call it the new .308 knowing full well the comments I’m going to receive. There’s a good reason this is happening.  It is an excellent long range round for competition, hunting, and tactical applications. Not that the .308 has stopped being that.  The 6.5 Creedmoor just simply has better ballistics.  Black Rain Ordnance has been putting this caliber to the test. Groups of 1/2 an inch are common.

I was told by an employee that they are hoping to test the rifle and cartridge out to one mile very soon.  “We are a company made up of shooters and we want to test the limits of our products,” he said.

Black Rain Ordnance makes their own triggers.
