Larry Vickers and Tango Down have released their new Slide Racker for Gen5 Glock pistols. The new Vickers Tactical Glock accessory is called the GSR-04 and it features serrated wings on both sides. The wings are a bit wider than the factory Glock slide but not so wide that it would get in the way during concealed carry.

While I haven’t had any issues with racking the slides on any of my Glocks, I can see the benefit of a product like this. The GSR-04 gives the factory Glock slide extra traction and grip that may be useful during high-stress situations or if a shooter is wearing gloves, has sweaty hands, etc. The GSR-04 is easy to install with no modifications to your pistol needed. It simply replaces the factory Glock slide end plate. It’s made out of injection molded glass-reinforced nylon with stainless steel reinforcements.

This isn’t the first Glock slide racking attachment we’ve seen, there is the TacRack Slide Racking Aid and Chambermax TA-1. However both those options added bulk and looked pretty odd.
