    The recently introduced NEMO Arms Dakkar rifle is the result of the collaboration of NEMO Arms and Kinetic Research Group. It is a short action rifle available in .308 Winchester or 6.5mm Creedmoor caliber options. Let’s take a look at the features of this rifle.

    The Dakkar rifle features a folding stock which can be configured to fold to left or right side. The length of pull, cheek rest height and position, recoil pad height and cant are adjustable. These are all tool-less adjustments. The length of the .308 Winchester version is 43″ and 30″ with the stock extended and folded respectively. The 6.5mm Creedmoor version is two inches longer. Both rifles weigh about 10 lbs.

    NEMO Arms Dakkar rifle has a three lug bolt with a 60-degree bolt handle throw. The extractor design is similar to that of AR-15 rifles. Bolts of Dakkar rifles also have spring loaded plunger ejectors.

    The forearm is made of carbon fiber. It has Picatinny rail sections on 6 and 12 o’clock positions as well as various other accessory attachment options.

    The 6.5mm Creedmore version comes with a 22″ barrel and the Dakkar rifle chambered in .308 Winchester has a 20″ barrel. Both caliber barrels have 1:8 twist rate and are threaded with 5/8-24 thread pitch. According to NEMO Arms, these match grade barrels are sourced from “top-shelf brands like Krieger and Bartlein“. These rifles also feature tool-less barrel change system.

    Dakkar rifles are equipped with adjustable two-stage triggers. Both the trigger pull weight and the overtravel can be adjusted without disassembling the trigger mechanism. The rifles have ambidextrous magazine release levers, safety selectors and grip panels. There are two size grip panels included with these rifles. Dakkar rifles are fed from AICS pattern magazines of five or ten round capacity.
