The Glock 43 is a pretty difficult handgun to shoot. And strong hand only shooting doesn’t make it easier. At least if you’re engaging targets further away than 15 yards with precision and you care about my opinion.

In the main picture above, I think the G43 is probably empty and has locked back.

But the “43” has a lot of other qualities, its size is one of them. Fully loaded at 634 g / 22.36 oz isn’t bad either.

If you’re shooting a competition with a Glock 43, your planning will be similar to the people shooting revolver. You’re going to have to plan around 6 rounds per magazine change, that’s typically three targets (in IPSC) then you’re empty. Unless you start with a round in the chamber or, where rules allow, can use a magazine extender.
