Can you imagine a .22LR shooting one minute of angle at 300 yards?  I couldn’t either, but I learned a few things I didn’t know from Cole Quarnberg, director of sales and marketing, about the Vudoo Gun Works custom .22LR.

Vudoo Gun Works specializes in full custom, Remington 700 footprint, bolt action firearms chambered in .22 long rifle. One of the most notable features of Vudoo actions is that they are controlled round feed.  Controlled round feeding perfectly centers the cartridge on the bolt face and feeds it precisely into the chamber leaving the bullet untouched.  The downside to a push feed style action is that the bullet tip can be easily deformed as it slides up the feed ramp, thereby degrading accuracy downrange.  The 22LR bullet is notoriously soft and must be kept in good condition for best results at “long range”.

The Ravage from Vudoo comes standard in a Grayboe stock, but stocks from Manners, Boyd’s, or Magpul will also work.  Chassis companies such as Masterpiece arms, MDT, and JP Enterprises make options that fit the Vudoo actions perfectly.  The Ravage will accept any Remington 700 clone trigger as well.
