A couple of months ago, we reported about one of the reloading products made by this Slovenian company. Recently Armanov has released an adjustable gas block for AR-15 rifles. According to the company, before releasing this product to the market they have tested it for several weeks to make sure it works flawlessly and can be offered to their customers.

In order to adjust this gas block, you need to turn the adjustment hex screw which is located in front of the gas block. The adjustment screw has a retention mechanism which makes it click into any particular position and stay in the selected setting preventing it from coming loose. The adjustability range consists of 12 clicks with 4 clicks per revolution of the adjustment screw (3 revolutions total). The Allen wrench that comes with the gas block has 200 mm (about 8″) length to allow adjusting the gas block even if it is located deep inside the handguard.

This gas block is CNC machined out of 42CrMo4 steel which according to the company is the European equivalent of 4140 steel. The gas block is compatible with AR-15 barrels that have .750″ diameter at the gas block mounting portion. It attaches to the barrel via a couple of set screws (threads and screws have metric thread pitches). This Armanov gas block is also a low profile one and should fit inside most of the free floated AR-15 handguards. It comes with a gas tube roll pin and thread locking compound. There is also a vertical line engraved on the gas block to make alignment easier. This gas block weighs 60 grams (about 2 oz).
