M&P 2.Awesome!

First up is the fact that, with Smith & Wesson’s announcement and unveiling of the M&P 2.0, Faxon was already on point with a full display of M&P 2.0-ready barrels to meet the needs of the discerning S&W owner.

The barrel colors at this point are black nitride, rainbow PVD, or TiN (Titanium Nitride/gold) PVD.

Available in threaded or target crown, fluted or non-fluted, full sized or compact – the barrels will run right between $195-235 and will be available for purchase within the next 2 weeks.

Sig Sauer P320 Goodness

In addition to the M&P 2.0 barrels, Faxon also wow’d us with the Sig P320 barrels as well!

Available in threaded or target crown, fluted or non-fluted, full sized or compact, and in 3 dazzling color options (black nitride, rainbow PVD, or TiN – Titanium Nitride/gold – PVD) – the barrels will run between $195-235 and will be available for purchase and ready to ship literally any day now.

Moooore Barrels, You Say?

Faxon also recently launched barrels for the AK-47 and -74, Ruger Precision, .458 SOCOM, and .450 Bushmaster!

The AK barrels (both in 7.62×39 and 5.45x39R) are already available and ready for purchase via Faxon’s website in 16″ or 18″ for the 7.62×39 or 16″ for the 5.45 Russian.

The .458 SOCOM and .450 Bushmaster barrels are coming soon will be available in either 10.5″ or 16″ and will MSRP around $255-270.

The Ruger Precision barrel (24″ in 6mm Creedmoor) will run around $429 MSRP.

As If That Weren’t Enough…

Faxon also unveiled their new FX5500 Ultra Lightweight for the AR-15 platform!

The FX5500 will come with a 14.5″ Faxon pencil barrel with a pinned and welded brake, 13″ carbon fiber handguard, light weight bolt carrier group, and a Faxon branded forged aluminum upper and lower receiver with a mid-length gas profile and a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block.

So what makes this AR-15 so different from all of the others on the market?

Probably the fact that Faxon actually LISTENED to their customers and made the muzzle brake the same diameter as the barrel so that you can slide the gas block on and off as you need to.

That…and the fact that the entire firearm weighs in at 4.95 pounds!

Incidentally, this is the exact same barrel profile we used in my store to build patrol carbines for an entire local police department, due to their dependability and accuracy!

The Faxon FX5500 will be available for purchase “soon” (no ETA as of yet) and will have an MSRP of around $2400.
