[SHOT 2018] Elevated Technologies Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Mounts

We have earlier reported about the Elevated Technologies sight mount system called The Slide. Initially, this mount was available for the Trijicon MRO and Aimpoint red dot optics. During the SHOT Show 2018, the company introduced new versions of The Slide mount designed for the Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro sights.

The idea behind these sights is to allow the shooters to perfectly co-witness the iron sights with the red dot optics. With most of the conventional scope mounts, you are pretty much limited to the single height they offer. The Elevated Technologies mount provides an infinite amount of adjustability within its limits. It is a two-piece construction consisting of the lower part that attaches to a standard 1913 rail and the upper one that can be moved back and forth at an angle thus changing the elevation of the optics. To adjust the desired optics height you simply need to find the proper position of the upper piece on the lower one and tighten it down.

The Elevated Technologies mounts are shipped in cases shown in the following image.

Although the new mounts are not yet listed on the company’s website, I assume they should not be priced more than the MSRP of $149.99 of their Trijicon MRO and Aimpoint mounts. The differences between these mounts are minimal and should not result in any significant increase in the manufacturing costs.
