PTR Gets New Website, Logo – Teases Something Big

South Carolina based firearm manufacturer PTR just revamped their logo and website ahead of a SHOT Show new product announcement. And before we go any further, yes I have asked and no I don’t know what it is yet. However, PTR has graciously offered TFB some hands-on time prior to the opening of the show. Much like my high school days when the popular girl noticed me in the hall that one time, I checked my empty calendar and jumped at the chance for some one on one time with PTR’s new product.

You may remember our PTR K3P review from last year – one of my favorite guns to soon be made better with a tax stamp and collapsible stock. I asked a variety of custom roller lock builders before making my PTR purchase and they all gave a thumbs up. Always a good sign.

As for the new product announcement, I’ll give a TFB patch to the first commenter who correctly guesses the new gun in the correct (and specific) configuration. For example, if you think PTR is releasing an AR15, I’ll need caliber, barrel length, gas system, stock type, magazine compatibility, etc. If it is a series of new firearms, the tiebreaker will be based on the time of the first guess. U.S. only. Void where prohibited by law.

PTR Gets New Website, Hints At Something New

    Proven. Trusted. Refined.

For over 15 years, PTR has been on a slow, steady march toward the goal of making the most reliable and accurate roller-lock weapons in the world. Through precision manufacturing, an unwavering commitment to quality, and exceptional customer service, we are committed to providing the very best overall client experience to all of our customers.

As we begin 2018, we are proud of our guns, and even more proud that they are made right here in Aynor, South Carolina with parts manufactured in the USA. We chose to focus on the roller-lock system because it is a time tested and PROVEN design that delivers a smoother operation, which generally translates into better accuracy. From law enforcement and military professionals the world over, this weapon system has a long, proud legacy, which PTR continues to this day.

When PTR started out, our rifles were assembled largely from surplus parts, often sourced overseas. Today, we manufacture virtually every component of our firearms here in our own S.C. plant. This self-sufficiency gives us control of both the quality and delivery of our products not commonly shared by others in this space. We take the time necessary to ensure that every firearm that leaves our factory is worthy of the TRUSTED position the roller-lock system has earned over the years with those professionals whose lives depended on it.

Using cutting-edge technology, advanced materials, and manufacturing processes, our firearms are constantly being REFINED by our talented designers, engineers, machinists, gunsmiths, assemblers and testing professionals who work together to make a product that we are not only proud to be associated with, but want to buy ourselves. We continually invest in new equipment and machinery, to ensure we can make the highest quality product, at the best possible price.

While we are proud of our accomplishments to date, we are more excited at the prospect of future opportunities to keep refining our firearms, as we continue to grow.

Unwavering dedication to unprecedented quality. This is PTR.

    WE ARE PTR.
