NEW Featureless J68 Rifle From JARD, for California Residents

    JARD CA Compliant J68

JARD, Inc. announced it was now offering a California compliant version of its J68 pistol caliber bullpup rifle. The gun has been built to conform to the current laws regarding firearms in The Golden State.

The new models are similar in function to the original J68 but with certain features removed. It is available in three pistol calibers: 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP. The guns feed from Glock pattern magazines and eject to the bottom. There is a length of Picatinny rail for adding an optic or sights.

The gun has an overall length of 30.25″ with a pinned and welded muzzle brake attached. The barrel is 17″ long, and an unloaded gun weighs in at 7.5 pounds for the 9mm gun. The normal pistol grip has been replaced by one of the “finned” grips to reduce the shooter’s control of the gun. Guns in all calibers will be offered in black or tan colors.

There are a lot of people that like the JARD products. While they may run efficiently, the J68 looks like something a player would cobble together in a Fallout game. Perhaps this will be the standard issue rifle for the New California Republic troopers should a New Vegas sequel ever make it into production.

The CA complaint rifles all carry a suggested retail price of $957.06. This is an almost $60 premium over the standard J68 carbines.
