Reddit user xXxWirtyXDoorxXx posted this (often-stolen) video showing how devastating a 5.56 Rifle can be on a piece of armor held up by a bucket of water.

I had no idea that a 5.56 Rifle could be used in such a manner. Im guessing that projectile is about 42,000 gr. Not sure about the muzzle velocity but It is certainly much slower than your typical 5.56 round. However looking at the results from this video it is hard to argue that it isn’t effective at knocking things over.
