TNW Firearms Announces New Versions of Aero Survival Pistol

    TNW ASP

TNW Firearms recently announced it was now offering new versions of the Aero Survival Tactical Pistol (or ASP) that feature an extended handguard and an SB Tactical SOB Pistol Stabilizing Brace. The SOB brace is a slimmer, lighter version of the SB15 pistol brace.

The ASP is a take down gun like the Aero Survival rifle. The barrel is removable, and the entire gun is able to be stored in a backpack. For a survival gun that can be kept under the seat of a plane or boat where space can be at a premium, compact storage is important. The ASP has a 10.25″ barrel, which is 6″ shorter than the rifle versions. However, the additional length, as compared to a traditional pistol, can increase bullet velocity. The Picatinny rail on top will also allow for the addition of an optic for increased accuracy.

As with the company’s other Aero Survival pistols and rifles, these guns will be available in a range of pistol calibers including 9mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and 10mm. These cartridges all feed from Glock pattern magazines. Additionally, you can purchase one of the new ASPs in .22 LR or .22 WMR. The rimfire versions of the gun runs with Remington 597 magazines. A single 10-round magazine is shipped with each pistol. Fortunately, additional magazines for these guns are inexpensive and easy to find.

TNW Firearms offers these guns in a number of different colors. Yes, black is available. However, you can also purchase one of these ASPs with a finish in dark earth, olive drab, Tiger Pink or Tiger Green. The guns have a suggested retail price of $899.
