NEW: McMillan A5-22 Rimfire Stock For 10/22 Actions

As I continue my parts research for a project I have dubbed “Spark Plug”, I stumbled upon a new stock option from McMillan Fiberglass Stocks. Their A5-22 stock is a rimfire trainer setup that can accept Ruger, Kidd and Volquartsen actions.

Known for quality and customization, McMillan offers the same options available for their centerfire big brothers. Spark plug is unique in that I am using a PWS Summit straight pull action – I’ll have to check with the stock makers to ensure the A5-22 will work with the charging handle/bolt setup.

Either way, unless I find another chassis I like more with better features than the A5-22, right now a red, white and blue marble McMillan is on the top,of my list.

If anyone has as experience with McMillan stocks or a precision chassis for a 10/22 action, speak up in the comments section below.

    McMillan A5-22 DESCRIPTION:

The A5-22 shares the same look and feel as our standard A5 stock. It is able to accommodate 10-22 type actions including Kidd 10-22 models with rear tang attachments. The A5-22 is dimensional the same as our standard A5 with some minor changes in the tang and floor plate areas.
