Spuhr and Forge Tactical LLC in Co-operation

Spuhr and Forge Tactical are starting a co-operation. The outline can be found in the quoted Press Release below, but TFB also reached out and spoke directly to both Håkan Spuhr and John Chapman of Forge Tactical to get some more details.

In Europe Spuhr has a very solid reputation among hunters, sport shooters as well as professional users like Law Enforcement and Military. In the US Spuhr has the same reputation, but with a much lower market penetration. Those who know, they know. But very few know, so to speak.

In a World where a lot of products are driven more by mass production and offering the cheapest price, rather than trying to get it right the first time and offering a solution Spuhr certainly has a place in the market.

I can only speak from my own experience, where I had to spend hours to get a quality scope to fit in a cheap mount. This never occurred with any of my Spuhr mounts, I always had a perfect fit and could head to the range within minutes of installing. Did the Spuhr mount cost more? Yes, but time is money too and I prefer to get it right the first time.

Forge Tactical does a lot of training for the professional domestic Law Enforcement and the Military, and will provide their students with education and hands-on experience with the Spuhr product line.

A lot of shooters forget how critical the mount is. The mount is just as critical as the optic and if either fails you will have a very hard time hitting your target regardless how well you trained.

Forge Tactical will also transfer knowledge as well as feedback to Spuhr the needs and ideas of the end users, from the people who use loaded firearms as an everyday tool at work. Forge will also assist with R&D.
