Steiner Releases New DBAL-PL v2 & SBAL-PL Handgun Lights and Lasers

Maintaining the same environmental ratings as the DBAL-A3 used by various militaries, the DBAL-PL continues its well-liked handgun versatility combining four emitters into a single unit. The DBAL-PL includes a visible laser, white-light illuminator, and infrared laser with coupled infrared illuminator. The SBAL features only the visible light and laser. The v2 indicates some significant updates:

“The v2 features include fully programmable and ambidextrous switch functions for single tap, double tap, and press and hold operation. The DBAL-PL® v2 and SBAL-PL® v2 also have five programmable and independent dimming levels for each laser and illuminator.”

The new PL  units are all 100% American designed (Vermont) and made (Ohio) under the ownership of Beretta. Both the DBAL and SBAL units are available with either red or green visible lasers. Retail pricing will float around $899-999 for the DBAL units. SBAL units are around $650.

    • Spencer Ivey

To go on expensive guns, like the HK Mark 23 or High end 1911s. Not your typical Glock light.

You say that like all the glockfags aren’t already pre-ordering. Imagine how much your IG cred will go up with one of these.

        so it’s an impractical showpiece?

Gonna be awkward when the kids start mugging each other at the range for their DBALs.

Jeebuz. And I thought I’d paid a lot for my Surefire! Wait. I DID pay a lot for my Surefire. This is bananas expensive!

    • Evo Shift

No. These prices are just plain ridiculous, and are for morons, even at deep discounts.

Why not 2 buttons in each side? one for the laser and the other for the laser?
