SilencerCo Omega45K And B&T APC45 Summit Package

If I was a 45ACP shooter, I’d be seriously considering this new SilencerCo Summit Series package. The complete setup is exclusive to Capitol Armory and includes a B&T APC45, a SilencerCo Omega 45K and a Vertx EDC Ready Bag. In addition, the mounting system for the Omega is a new and improved low-profile three lug adapter. Currently, the only manufacturer producing APC45 3-Lug mounts is B&T which are specifically fitted for B&T silencers.

Unfortunately, the only way to obtain the new SilencerCo 3-Lug mount design for the APC45 at the moment is through the Capitol Armory deal. Let’s hope that changes in the coming months since I’ve heard several B&T owners mention waiting for an adapter to mount their 45 caliber suppressors.

I’m also hoping that this new ‘low-profile’ design spreads over to the 9mm line of suppressors.

MSRP for the newest Summit Series collection is set at $3175.

B&T + SILENCERCO APC45 And Omega 45K SUMMIT PACKAGE @ Capitol Armory:

The B&T APC45 is a purpose-driven design, created to meet the needs of police, special forces, and military personnel around the world.
When a request was put out for an alternative lightweight and compact option to replace outdated platforms that had been in use for 50+ years, B&T responded with the APC45. Met with praise from users across the spectrum, the APC45 has since been adopted by military and police units throughout Europe.
SilencerCo is proud to bring you a civilian-legal, semi-auto pistol variant of the APC45 submachine gun paired with the new-for-2017 Omega 45K with an updated 3-Lug Mount*, all packaged in a Vertx EDC Ready Pack.

This is like, a post sample automatic right? Because that’s ridiculous.

Have you priced out any of the quality H&K clones? They run $3-$4k without a silencer. I rarely say this about SiCo’s Summit packages, but this is “reasonable”.

      • No one

To be fair, comparing the price to arguably one of the, if not the biggest brand name riders in the industry Isn’t exactly a comparison that inspires confidence.

        • Pete – TFB Writer

I think I see what you mean. But price and value to individual consumers is so subjective. It’s hard to write anything off as ridiculous.

        • Duray

Does B&T make any inexpensive guns?

          • Frank

The P26 is their lowest priced one, it’s about a grand. And it’s basically a super well made Tech-9.

          • No one

No not really, they have the stereotypical Swiss over-engineer the h— out of it mindset down to a T.

But, realistically speaking, SMGs are falling out of favor even with Law Enforcement, who are usually very budget minded unless you’re a national police agency who gets far more funding, and most modern militaries very rarely use SMGs at all, I really don’t see B&T’s business model being sustainable for too much longer to be honest.

      what’s ridiculous?

  • Ebby123

That’s actually not a terrible price for what you’re getting.

I like the new 3-Lug adapter. The older/current ones can easily be modified to work with the APC45. The lugs on the barrel are identical to what is on a 9mm. You just need to get the inner diameter enlarged slightly.

      Good info. Thanks.

  • mark

The price isn’t out of line for the gun and suppressor. B&T isn’t going to make an inexpensive subgun.

  • John Daniels

What does this accomplish that other hammer-fired blowback PCCs, that cost half as much, don’t accomplish?

    • anon

absolutely nothing. just like there is no difference between ARs /s

  • Michael Robert Stevenson

Before anyone gets too excited feel free to google how reliable those APC45s have been. If I remember correctly, they’re junk and getting service is pretty difficult. No thanks!

This gun would be great if it werent for two things, the magazines are single feed, again. And the magazines are very expensive, i mean come on. I can understand the gun being expensive, but the mags should not be that expensive, this could have been the new standard for .45 acp mags, double feed, cheap, to replace the thompson mags. for a gun that price, it should be a double feed bolt like the thompson instead of single feed like the grease gun,
