The Attacher – Simple Name & Concept, Awesome Options

Boxer Tactical, known for their President’s awesome Amidst the Noise videos, and simple American innovation, is at it again with yet another simple solution to a problem plaguing shooters everyone – gear organization.

Most shooters I know make healthy use of boxes of various kinds. Once full, wanting to go tactical or recognizing that not all firearms items play kindly with long-term exposure, move on to various ammo boxes for organization. From there, there are few places to go.

Seeing an option for full gear organization self-actualization is “The Attacher” from Boxer Tactical. It’s a simple product that is simply a Velcro loop fabric backed by a magnetic surface to put hook and loop pretty much anyone in one’s firearms cave – notably firearms safes.

The hook and loop will then interface with the plethora of hook-backed pouches to create a fully modular storage system. Those with tactically-minded families or no spouse will enjoy that The Attacher also works on refrigerators.

The Attacher is 100% made in the USA and clocks in at $39 for the single 24″x12″ panel or $74 for a three-piece kit capable of going full 24″ x 24″ with the addition of two 12″ x 12″ panels. Currently, the only color is black – which is a good thing. Black goes with everything.

    That’s a pretty good idea.

  • A.WChuck

At those prices, I’ll make my own.

    • Phillip Cooper

Yep. Knowing how to use a sewing machine is actually a pretty darn manly art. You can make all manner of gear yourself.

      • DrewN

Pretty much every piece of web/support gear now standard started with some dude in the rigger’s loft and someone else with a case of beer.

        • Phillip Cooper

Yep! “The Tactical Tailor” rings a bell.

  • Reef Blastbody

So *THAT* is where he went. I absolutely loved how he very calmly and surgically dismantled all sorts of leftist think.

I hope he opted to focus on growing Boxer Tactical and put the Amidst The Noise project on the back burner rather than abandon it altogether.

    • Jim Thatcher

He actually went from Amidst the Noise to being an NRA commentator. I believe he still does vids for them on a regular basis.

  • I like the idea, but not at that price. I can buy a whole lot of fridge magnets for the price of the mat alone.

This tacti-cool patch thing has gone too far.

But the geek chic patch thing has not gone far enough!

“a problem plaguing shooters everyone – gear organization”

…or maybe you just have too much gear 🙂

I’ve got a nice cheap MidwayUSA pistol soft-case with a bunch of built-in mag pouches on the side. That plus “the gun bucket” (which you can put a padded seat cushion on top of if needed; heat-a-seat cushions are really nice in the winter) pretty much does it for me.

  • Anomanom

I’m more interested in those velcro mag holders. My manpurse has a big loop panel inside and that would be perfect. Put a spare mag in one, and flashlight in the other so it doesnt always end up at the bottom of the bag.

    • Anomanom

If anyone is interested, I got the velcro mag holder and it arrived today. It seems pretty sturdy, the velcro is good, and the elastic strap is nice and tight. Your mags will definitely stay put. And i was correct; the other loop is also well sized to hold a smallish flashlight. So far, pretty good.

    Neat.

For the love of FSM – please hire a full-time staff editor to make your articles comprehensible before posting them. I know you want and you can do better than this.

  • JumpIf NotZero

Ooohh, I really like the pistol mag hook and loop deal. Seems like the mags will probably slide all the way down, but cool at first glance.
