Tom Bostic made this MP5SD for a friend. His friend already had an MP5SD in .40 cal so he wanted something a little different.

I rarely build Roller locks but a buddy of mine wanted something that looked like it it should be in some futuristic space movie. He already had a standard SD in .40 and bought two kits so I turned the second one into Franken gun. It actually comes up nice with that stock and is well balanced. I used an SL8 stock , G36 dual optic carry handle and a G36C knights style handgaurd.

I like it. The only critique I have is the weathering is a little strong and seems too forced. Like someone went a little overboard with a dry brush and silver paint or some sand paper. Other than that, it looks pretty cool.

    Nice.
Id like to see one with an M4 carry handle an an A2 sight.

That would probably bring the sights back down to Earth.

Don’t like it. Needs a bayonet lug.

Should’ve gone full frankengun, hacksawed the magwell, and JB-welded half a Glock pistol grip. There, NOW it takes glock mags.

I thought there was an unspoken rule that JB stands for John Browning… you can only use it on his guns…

      🙂

So let me get this right… You build a new gun to look like an old battle worn gun because you won’t ever use it enough to put that much wear on it. or it’s a toy for grown up’s

Looks like something that came out of Darah, Pakistan.
