Weapon lights have evolved in the past 10-15 years and obviously LEDs have been a big part of the transformation. Battery life, ruggedness, size and light output are at the top of the list for advantages over their incandescent kin. LUCID Optics has just joined the illumination game with the C3: a dual LED weapon light that pushes out 300 lumens.

Personally I’d like to see more weaponlight manufacturers offer a dual-head light. Besides the increased output and redundancy possibilities, there is also the potential for angled or offset LEDs. This could assist with wider projection angles and the reduction in shadowing.

LUCID’s new C3 Weapons Light was designed to bring you light in the darkness. This light is waterproof and shockproof and built in a 6061 aluminum housing. It has a brightness of 300 lumens, beam distance of 70 ft and a simple press and hold strobe function. This light is 2.75″ long with a 1.5″ mounting length and weighs 2.25 oz.
