Miles V. friend Corey V. posted a photo of hos he packed his 1919A4 on a US ARMY Packboard.

For fellow nerds, this is how the packboard instructions say to carry the M1919a4. I also managed to squeeze in a machette, 3 section cleaning rod, good chunk of cord, axe and hatchet.  ….this thing still ain’t light….

Miles and his friend practice WWII tactics.

        It took me a moment to catch if this was from the Dirty Dozen or Kelly’s Heroes ;_;

          Crapgame was a classic

          Well Clint Eastwood was not in Dirty Dozen so that was easy.

    I was super surprised when the manual showed the tripod still attached to the gun on the packboard!

    Makes you wonder if people could just buy new machine guns what magpul would have invented to help you tote them around to the range…

      I done reckon if we could just buy machine guns we’d invent lighter machineguns than one made in 1919.

    Great video!
    So what was the cause of the rifle malfunction that could only be simulated under live fire conditions?
    During the excercise it appeared there was quite a few jammed rifles. What was would you say a few major factors that caused them? I think that part of the video was highly interesting.
    Kudos to you guys for an outstanding job and once again I’m left in awe of what the greatest generation was able to accomplish with what they had.
    It amazes me what they were able to accomplish without the modern communication systems we have now days

    30-06? psh. obsolete FMJs just make tiny holes. sail right through! if you dont have your light machine guns firing the same rounds as your sidearm, you arent being efficient enough!

    WOW! Thanks. Imagine all this time I’ve just been throwing mine in a cheap range bag to haul it to and from the range.

    What was the 1911 shooter trying to do to the 500m MG position?
