Neat photos from the SHOT Show | SHOT 2017

Honor Defense is making some neat striker fired pistols. Its neat to see a striker fire that is not a Glock copy.

Jason Falla of Redback One showed off his Knights Armament Redback One rifle. Jason was smiling and jovial till picture time. Still lean and mean.

Knights Armament Redback One rifle. Note his new Aimpoint T1 mount. It sits a little bit higher then your typical T1 mount.

Picture I took of Jason during the 2016 SHOT Show.

Bushnell Legend T-Series 15 -45 mm spotting scope. These scopes have a mil-hash reticle and come in around $500. Great product.

KRG SOTIC Rifle. Custom action, custom barrel, KRG stock, available in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor. All for around $3000.

2017 is going to be the year of the chassis and the 6.5 Creedmoor. This rifle is from Asbury Precision.

Bell and Carlson had some new stock with an adjustable comb.Great stocks. These stock have an internal aluminum chassis.

Surefire had a mini gun. Awesome booth.

Year of the chassis…Cadex has some nice hardware.

Tikka came out with a Chassis rifle. It is available in 6.5 Creedmoor and 308 Winchester. I wish the 6.5 Creedmoor had a 24 inch barrel.

Morakniv released a full tang knife. They had an awesome booth.

Magpul had a neat booth that featured the development of the Pmag.

Bergara had a heavy presence at SHOT this year. Nice hardware. Great hardware. It’s nice to see the Spanish back in the firearms industry.

Billet Rifle Systems and Nevada Cerakote had some nice rifles at SHOT.

BRS-47 from Billet Rifle Systems. Nevada Cerakote does amazing work.

This was a Star Wars themed rifle from last year. Looking forward to see what Billet Rifle Systems comes out with in 2017.

Heckler and Koch CSASS rifle. Note the M-LOK handguard.

Heckler and Koch CSASS rifle from SHOT 2016. Note the…handguard.

Anyone know the tripod and mount the KRG SOTIC rifle is on?

    • JumpIf NotZero

That’s their tripod mount, on what looks like just a generic camera tripod.

I believe it was a Manfrotto with a simple RC2/Q2 interface attached to the bottom of the Chassis.

Did you notice if HK’s Mlok is backwards like their Keymod? lol

  • Andrew

FYI That picture with the minigun you captioned as the Aimpoint booth, was actually the SureFire booth.

      Thanks for the correction!

About the tikka t3x tac a1… all the calibers are available in either 20″ or 24″ barrel. So says the Tikka homepage

    • Thomas Gomez

You are correct. They only had the 20 inch version at SHOT Show.

  • Excuse my ignorance. Is there a difference between 7.62 x 51mm and .308? I always thought there wasn’t, but I have an acquaintance who says there is.
