Long range shooting is a sport that requires a lot of gear. Long range shooters try to consolidate their gear as much as possible. One item that caught my attention at the 2017 SHOT Show was the new 55 inch Deluxe Shooters Mat from Galati Gear. Not only is the Deluxe Shooters Mat a shooting mat, it is also a padded rifle case.

The Deluxe Shooters Mat will accommodate a rifle that is 55 inches in length. Galati states that it is the perfect combination of rifle case, shooting mat, drag bag and backpack. The Deluxe Shooters Mat is made of 1000D Nylon and has 1/2″ closed cell foam padding on each panel. The Deluxe Shooters Mat has adjustable straps within the Mat to secure the firearm when stowed, or being carried to the range. This looks like a really neat product.
