Yes, yes, I know I covered RISE at Industry Day at the Range (technically it was pre-coverage since we were out there on Sunday), but that article was only about the full rifles they had out there, not the other offerings they are also highlighting this year at SHOT.

And I do want to plug their .308 DI Gas Rifle again. I actually got to shoot it on Monday (they were still trying to setup on Sunday when I was harassing them). I’m in love. I was able to rapidly place 5 rounds at 960 yards. There was little to no movement of the rifle (it was on a bipod, opposed to my favorite platform of a pack), and I was able to maintain visual with the target through the Leupold Mark 4 scope. When this rifle becomes available in the spring, I would recommend trying to get behind one!

In the booth, RISE was showcasing two new rifle variants, in the more “affordable” range than their competition models–a “sporting” class, and a “hunting” class. Yes, both rifles are still above a budget beater rifle, coming in under $1500, but arguably, if you upgrade your trigger and barrel on a budget build chasing that sub-MOA performance, you are going to hit that price point anyway. And I can attest that RISE’s rifles are very well built and performant.

RISE Armament new LE145 trigger. Geared more for the LE community.

The other new product they have is their new LE145 Trigger which is more geared for the law enforcement market. It features the same workmanship as their other models but has a heavier trigger pull at 4.5 lbs. The LE145 will retail around $150.

All of their triggers have been re-engineered based on feedback and one of the highlights from that is a new “drop safe” feature that prevents the trigger from misbehaving during aggressive contact.
