Industry Range Day: FN USA AR15 New DMR and Tactical Models | SHOT 2017

In continuing the TFBTV SHOT 2017 Industry Range Day coverage, James gets the rundown from FN USA about FN’s new AR configurations for 2017, including a new tactical model featuring a 16″ cold hammer forged barrel and a DMR (designated marksman model) featuring an 18″ cold hammer forged barrel and muzzle brake. ┬áBoth include FN’s new slim-profile free float M-Lok rail system as well as numerous other features, and MSRP ranges between $1,500 and $2,000.

    Is it me or does that handguard looks like a Mega wedgelock rebadge?

      It’s almost identical with the Hodge defense version of the Mega wedgelock rail, with the exception that is made from cheaper alloy. FM most likely bought the license for Hodge Defense version and now they make them in house.
