Cabot Guns makes some interesting 1911s. They are known for their unique 1911s like the one made from a meteorite or the Damascus 1911. They have made some political 1911s in the past as well. Well they have made this to celebrate President Elect Donald Trump. It is all gold plated and over the top.

As tasteless as the man himself.

    • .45

That was basically what I was about to say. Gaudy and tasteless, the parallels are astonishing.

      • DaveP

But it’s the “class acts” who are so eager to feel smug about themselves they have to go searching for chances to bad mouth someone.
        Telling, that.

        • Quest

Like his plane. Who even gives a damn f*** about poor childs when you can instead have a ton of pure gold seat belts.
          (2. post because the first wasnt censored)

        • A bearded being from beyond ti

I think you’re taking a silly quip to seriously.

          • DaveP

Really? Go look at what Swarf posted and say that.

          • A bearded being from beyond ti

Dave, it’s alright, it’s just a comment on the internet, no need to get so emotional about it. Trump won, he’s the president, isn’t that enough?

        • Grindstone50k

Are you really that pathetic that you have to “stick up” for someone that doesn’t even *know* you, much less even give half a shit about your existence, against a half-assed witty internet comment by an anonymous person?

          To quote: SAD

        • .45

Heheh. If they didn’t read the rest of your comments on this page, anyone could be confused into thinking you were chiming in and making fun of Trump.

Anyway, I think both you and Trump will survive some jokes.

    • BillinDetroit

      I want one.

  • Joe

Reminds me of Saddam’s palaces, and how taste is independent of wealth.

    • DaveP

…except that DJT didn’t ask for it didn’t buy it and owns his own guns.

      • iksnilol

“Don’t talk bad about Donald-san! Oooh, Trump senpai, notice me pls”

That’s you, that’s how you sound with your brown nosing. Like, at least try to be entertaining.

        • DaveP

“How dare you stick up for someone I don’t like! You’re just not one of the cool kids!”

BTW, aren’t you not even American? Sorry, dude.

          • iksnilol

Dude, with what a hole most of the US is, I am glad I am not one of you.

But yeah, to be honest, I’ve made fun of Hillary as well. So it isn’t me being a whiny democrat. I go for the low hanging fruit. Trump and Hillary both made it an easy year for me.

          • DaveP

Yeah, keep on talking about what a “hole” the US is. Tell us more. It makes you look persuasive, really.

          • iksnilol

Dude, I’ve seen the living standard compared to Norway. And if you manage to make it work, good for you, I ain’t moving to poverty because ‘Murica.

Also, I ain’t trying to be persuasive. I am just telling it how I see it, just telling the truth, hombre.

          • Don Ward

Look buster. We don’t bust your chops for having to bow to a King and the fact that you have a Penguin who is a Brigadier general in your armed forces. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7308869bca076972d079db0e079bdbab6a6438e46f1cc80c293f7e87b39ef26e.jpg

          • Swarf

I’m giving 5 to 1 that penguin starts fewer wars than Trump in the next year.

          • Don Ward

Look man. We’re counting on Iksnilol, that penguin and a Lutefisk eating monarch to hold up their part of the NATO treaty.

          • iksnilol

That… that sounds like a good episode of Robot Chicken to be honest.

          • Bill

Apparently Donald won’t uphold OUR part of the NATO treaty, which really irks me. When I say I’ll do something, I’ll do it. Apparently this guy’s idea of honor and responsibility….never mind, for a second I forgot what he’s been grabbing.

          • Edeco

Huh… I can’t picture being upset about it. I mean, I don’t think there’s a meaningful cultural framework for nations to have honor among each other, the way there is sometimes between individuals. They’ll think we’re snakes for a while, but pfft, we are snakes. Stoic, isolate, never yet melted!*

*well OK, we’ve melted, but you get the point.

          • iksnilol

+ they’re less money hogs and glory hounds.

          • May

I’d rather have a penguin command the army than a pumpkin.

          • iksnilol

Ummm, the king is just a formality, he’s got no power. Basically just a state representative/diplomat. And he knows it.

And also, NILS OLAV IS A BETTER WAR HEO THAN YOU’LL EVER BE! In all seriousness, it’s a tradition that started wheb Roald Amundsen brought a king penguin back as a gift after being first man to reach the south pole.

I spend a good part of each shift reminding myself that I don’t work in the Third World. A whole bunch of Americans, of all political parties, don’t realize that there are big chunks of the nation that are festering poohholes, and I’m not talking about Chicago or East St Louis.

          • Joshua Knott

as a Saint Louis Resident…the East side has its merits, as most never go there during the daylight hours πŸ˜‰
But Saint Louis has come along way.

            Ain’t nothin’ being doled out.

          • mosinman

Damn Norway makes you walk to collect your welfare checks? thats a lot of work, especially during winter. I hear Sweden send them to you in the mail and you’re in luck because i hear they love immigrants too πŸ˜€

          • Phillip Cooper

Just imagine what a hole most of Europe would still be without us…

            a smoking, literal, hole.

          • iksnilol

Why? You keeping us safe by bombing goat fornicators?

            Yeah, get real, bud.

          • Phillip Cooper

Little thing called WWII… and WW1…

          • iksnilol

WW1, the one where you were too late to the party to claim any real credit.

And WW2, the one where you played tag team with the Soviets (before they became your bitter enemies during the oddly warm Cold War), again, joining extremely late to the party.

Not discrediting the US’ effort in both WW’s, but folks like yourself who don’t really know history like to pat themselves on the back for something they never participated in and that something was a team effort, so you can’t claim all the glory for yourself.

          • Phillip Cooper

You speak, of course, as someone who has first-hand experience with “most of the US”?

If not, STFU. Don’t hear me talking about Europe as if I know it intimately, do you?

          • iksnilol

Regarding Europe, trust me, most of it is just as crappy as most of the US.

          • Joshua Knott

C;mon man, America is not a hole, Ive invited you over a few times to experience it. Thats like me saying half your home is a hole too. Youre better than that, whilst I wont stick up for the don over some whimsical comment i will stand for ole Glory. i cant remember if you’re Finish or a Dane,Norway or Sweden, either way i consider your people our nordic brothers. but regardless it doesnt matter, we all have our idiots. At least in the US, we have made it easier for those idiots to live.

          • Bill

Uh, big chunks of the US is a hole, albeit a very great hole, one of the best in the world

          • Joshua Knott

If we exclude new york city, chicago, l.a, and san fran, finally detriot….its not all that bad. Id never live anywhere else in the world, visit other places, for sure but leave ole glory…nope. Far to many need to get out there a little more.

          • iksnilol

It’s a good place to live if you’re upper class. If you’re middle class or lower you either break your back to make ends meet non stop (essentially being a debt slave), or you work unhealthily much to have some future (if you’re middle class) which then get’s screwed over because you broke your leg.

Only reason I’ll go to the US is to flaunt my Norwegian cash and go on a road trip which will at some point include the rental of a Mustang (preferably vintage). I see no future there, at least not for me.

I knoe enough people that live in the US (and some stupid souls that emigrated to the US from Norway) to know that I won’t be doing that.

Old Glory is great… if you’re already established.

          • Joshua Knott

Wow man, you are so wrong, how much time have you spent touring the States? Essentially our country is so easy to live in that even the most neanderthal person you’ve ever met would still be able to scrap by a life, including social welfare benefits that, albeit in “American poverty” would still have a life better than that of most people currently living in hole pots of Europe, including Norway. Come flaunt your Norwegian cash ( The median income in Norway came out at just under 120,000 kroner per year ($19,300), according to Gallup, well ahead of a typical income of $18,630 in Sweden, the next highest earning country.Dec 17, 2013) Im confused by your status of cash as whats considered average salary, being said our poverty level is considered 26k a year. But by all means come and enjoy the states and its people that you so frequently converse with.

In regards to our healthcare it was a lot better before obama care , I used to be able to afford it, now its more or less a house payment for most, its sad and decrepit i will agree with that. As a sole proprietor aka self employed under contract they hose me…every year and its only been like that for me in the past 4 years. A lot of these people you speak of have never even ventured our of their own state borders, so always take that with a grain of salt. and on the contrary my buddy Laurent would love to move to the states, but we tend to give Free passes to the middle east rather than europeans who actually want to be here. Hell even my ex was a gal who grew up in East Berlin, so yeah anything was better than that ,well kinda.

          • iksnilol

Average income in Norway is about 300-400k NOK, so Gallup is a smidge wrong, by about 70%.

I also value my time, how much paid time do you have off yearly? How much unpaid. Lotsa factors to consider.

In other words, I earn more here than I would in the US, and I spend less. But hey, that’s the yoke of socialism for you.

  • It should actually be a gold HK 45.

He’s on the record as owning an HK .45 and .38 J frame.

    • Joe Gamer

Hard to get polymer to look gold though

      • True, but gold controls on a black polymer frame would look very nice. Gaudy, but nice.

        • noob

black MIM controls on a gold frame

      • iksnilol

Just make a solid steel frame and slide for it.

  • Swarf

I can’t believe someone is in here white-knighting for Trump, of all people.

He’s not going to sleep with you Dave. Leave it alone.

    • DaveP

Nah, I want you to keep on going. Tell us how superior you are. Tell us all how much smarter, classier you are. Don’t spare the horses. Tell all those folks In PA and the other blue states Trump won how you feel about them. I want you and all those like you to make dead sure those Trump voters know exactly how you feel about them… so they’ll never give you the time of day again.

Victory gets to work. Failure whines.

      • Swarf

This wasn’t a football game, Dave. Does it occur to you that there may be many of us that thought that Clinton and Trump were both terrible choices?

Furthermore, I can think Trump is a self-aggrandizing narcissistic fecal speck of a human and still win a “more working-class than thou” contest with a whole lot of people.

Just because I think you are being a twerp doesn’t mean I don’t weld steel for a living.

        • DaveP

A lot of folks here voted Trump. Some with pride, some with their teeth gritted .. and every time some loudmouth gasses off, a few more gritted-teeth voters realize they made the right decision after all.

So keep on going, keep on making us look good. After all, you’ve got to have something to comfort you.

          • ostiariusalpha

Nothing makes us gritted-teeth Trump voters feel better about that decision, Hillary’s defeat is small comfort. Your brown-nosing certainly doesn’t make anyone look good. If the HPA passes, that will do a lot more to reduce the urge to punch his face in for a lot of people. I have my doubts that he has the clout or testicular fortitude to repeal the GCA or NFA.

          • DaveP

If that’s what you think, I’m sorry for you… the next four years are gping to give you ulcers. But I hate to tell you, you’re pretty much in the minority.
And really? Repeal the GCA is your standard? Really?

          • ostiariusalpha

Yeah, I’d say repealing the GCA is a pretty good standard for what would make Donald Trump less objectionable to me personally. Do you like the GCA or something?

          • DaveP

Nope, but I understand that it’s not the President who repeals laws, but Congress… and that there’s at least three “Republican ” Senators and half a dozen Reps who would cheerfully vote against any such thing.
Really, the Republican caucus could have brought a GCA repeal- or at least a few neutering amendments- up at any time since 2010. They could have slid the language into a bill Obama didn’t dare veto, or into the Ryan budget last year. At the very least, it would have made Obama veto it… Gingrich got a lot of mileage out of stuff like that. Why didn’t they?

          • ostiariusalpha

Sure, why would they not follow Newt’s example and fritter away a chunk of their majority, then get themselves booted out of their leadership positions. Sounds like some real genius that you’re spouting there, Dave.

          • DaveP

Who won that majority? And how much has the Washington R’s done for the 2nd Amendment since then? Positive stuff now, not “I kept the Democrats from…” but actual results? Reining in the ATF? Pushing for national reciprocity? Easing the GCA? Or has it all been kabuki? Tell you one thing during campaign season, then forget it the day after? Dude, there’s been a Republican majority in Congress for a long time now.
            Show me scalps.

          • BillinDetroit

Awww … we’re going to be tackling those leadership positions at the next primary anyway … so it really doesn’t matter how they act around the GCA — they’re out.

          • May

He never would, Trump’s supported more gun bans than Hillary. He got the gun lobby’s endorsement purely because he ran on a Republican ticket.

          • Bill

In 6 months to a year, those gritted teeth will be ground down to nubs when they realize that they voted in the political equivalent of syphylis.

          • Phillip Cooper

I am *VERY MUCH* one who voted Trump with my teeth gritted…

I did not vote FOR Trump… I followed a wise old axiom:

“If you are part of a society that votes, do so. You may not have an ideal candidate to vote for- in such case, vote for the one you least disagree with. In so doing, you will never go wrong”.

I don’t think much of Trump as we see him in the media- but I realize that this is not indicative of the guy he actually is.

I do realize that I made the right decision, the more folks pop off about what a Racist, Bigot, Homophobe, etc, Trump voters are… the left lost and can’t handle it. They are melting down. I don’t want that in charge, ever again.

          • Bill

The left doesn’t need to demonstrate that he’s a xenophobic racist homophobe who maltreats women. He can do that all by himself. He do you *know* that the person you see in the media isn’t the real thing? You mainly see him speaking to his crowds. He was misleading all his supporters and the people at his rallies?

You want a meltdown? Wait 4 years when he doesn’t get re-elected.

          • BillinDetroit

We already got a meltdown when he DID get elected … or doesn’t Seattle and Portland count?

          • Edeco

I don’t agree with your axiom. One I like better is “There are no necessary evils in government.”* It might sound too good to be true, but assume it’s true for a little while and look at what we have.

            * yeah, I know who said it.

          • BillinDetroit

I work on that assumption that if there is no one I want to vote FOR, there’s probably a bunch I want to vote AGAINST. This time, I got both worlds. I thought that Trump was worth voting for and that Hillary needed to be voted against.

I think I left a crater in the touch screen.

          • Edeco

Congratulations on having a choice you liked, but I think your strategy is impractical, only works if you’re a major-part person anyway.

Voting against someone only works better than not voting* if you’re voting against one viable (major-party-backed) candidate and for another viable candidate. If you dislike the entire system as I do, that makes it a losing tactic, particularly because the major parties don’t care which of them you vote for** as long as one of them can reach you, buy you with your own time and wealth and a whiff of your natural rights. Or a whiff of power, the idea that you’re getting your own way and teaching someone else a lesson πŸ˜‰ If you don’t dislike the system call it what you want, it all looks the same to me.

*i.e. the vote has slightly more than symbolic value, maybe.
**neither of them wants total dominance, that would undermine the illusion of choice and place sole accountability on the winner. What they want is eternal squalid wrangling where they get to avoid real jobs and fly around in airplanes.

          • .45

Since when does the number of upset people make a particular candidate a better choice? I fail to see how someone throwing a fit (hardly an apt description of anyone here at the time of this comment) should make someone realize they made the right decision.

      • iksnilol

Y’all did whine like some mofo’s when you lost. Now when you win you whine about “honor”.

Meh, I don’t care, American politics are something stupid people participate in. Also, I find it hilarious how y’all raise Trump as some working man’s president when the guy just inherited a bunch of money, then started several failed businesses and got bailed out. Like, he’s far from working class is all.

But yeah, treat it as some class divide, it’s fun to watch. Besides, if it does devolve into a civil war and y’all kill eachother property prices are sure to fall, and I’ve always wanted my own Ponderosa.

        • DaveP

Yeah, that’s the kind of persuasive we like to hear! Tell us more about how you want us to die- I swear, it’ll bring tons of us onto your side.

          • iksnilol

What drugs are you on? And where can i get them? Because you seem to be outta this world. I didn’t say I want y’all to die. I’m just saying if that day comes I won’t mind taking advantage of the reduced property prices. Same thing happened after the plague.

Capitalism, baby! Youse lot of all should understand that.

Finally, I ain’t caring about no sides. Go fester in your self pity and “only a 10 million dollar loan working class” pride.

          • .45

That comment about capitalism is quite accurate. We live off other people and feel it is all OK as long as the ones suffering the most are in other countries. Nobody gets all that upset if our market takes advantage of a war in the Middle East, but suggest taking advantage of a US civil war, well you crossed a line there buddy.

          • iksnilol

Thanks for seeing the parallells, I use a similar argument against electric cars (they don’t damage the environment where they’re used but they do massive damage where their raw materials are made).

        • n0truscotsman

One thing to learn about American politics: there are no candidates for the working man.

        • Identitet14

We didn’t lose baby, you did.

I agree, some stupid people certainly do participate or atleast comment on american politics. Yes he did go bankrupt when he was young, he did fail some businesses. But then he did several good property purchases, used the money from that to buy up beauty pageants, football teams, television shows and fashion lines and more, he did so successfully and built himself quite a fortune. Truth is he is more successfull then most businessmen and considered part of the super-wealthy, his father was not.

Don’t pretend that his success didn’t exist, I also find it funny how people like you goad him for trying and failing but not succeeding. May I ask, how many times have you succeded in business, where is your vast wealth?

Perhaps the reason you never failed in business is the same you never succeded… you never tried.

I think we should praise him for trying and mostly succeding rather then nitpicking his failed attempts to make him out as something he is not. It is after all people like him, the ones that try to make something new or try and make something existing even better that drive the economy and progress, rather then just living off it like many wealthy inheritors and consuming like parasites.

Trumps actual policies if realized will most certainly benefit the working class. Policies aimed at reducing foreign competitiveness will drive back jobs and strict immigration policing will drive competition for low income jobs down. Increasing salary and amount of jobs available. It used to be considered common sense back in the day that in order to grow ones economy and inustrial capacity one needed to protect ones domestic industry against foreign competition while investing in infrastructure. Trump wants to do both, FDR agreed with him, Obama and Hillary did not. Guess which side I am betting on. It very much was his policies on these issues that got him the working class vote so crucial to winning the presidency. So yes this election very much did come down to a class divide. Perhaps more so among whites then among minority voters, but they voted against their class interest because of identity politics and “republicans are racist” propaganda of the last decades. Although then again Trump did receive a larger portion of both hispanic and black vote then last few republican candidates and turnout for blacks was down so perhaps these trends should be taken to Trump atleast getting them to warm up to him.

Also the only ones pushing for civil war are on the left, because they lost after going on endlessly before the election the importance of a smooth transition and accepting the outcome.

          • iksnilol

You didn’t lose when Obama won? Man, you’re inconsistent in your political beliefs.

Yeah, your rant isn’t interesting to read. Maybe we shouldn’t criticize glory hound generals for killing their troops but rather praise them for trying?

Regarding isolation, I dunno, didn’t seem to work out for China or Japan. You need to co-op with the world to survive. Everybody with half a lick of sense knows that.

I dunno, y’all on both sides are keen on a race/civil war (again, remember Obama? Good God, folks wanted to molon the labe outta folks then, nothing different now). Me? Again, there’s an ocean between us, I don’t care much. It’s just kinda funny to watch history repeat itself.

          • Identitet14

Trump did not lose. Trump represents a different direction and ideology then establishment republicans, alot of his supporters including me felt that no matter who won 2008 everyone lost.

If those generals had more success then failure and managed to win the war, then yes. Defeat is normal in war, just like bankrupcies is normal in business. If you haven’t failed you never lived. Funny how you leave out the part where he was massively successfull from your answer because it doesn’t fit your narrative.

To liken a tax on select foreign goods with total ban of everything foreign is such a ridicilous hyperbole, it is laughable. Tolls were very much instrumental for the european countries and USA to build up their industry during the industrial revolution, didn’t know they had a hard time surviving, but good thing your half a lick of sense is here to set me straight.

The only one you saw pushing for a war after Obama won was fringe lunatics, not even close to the outpouring of liberal pundits, politicians and celebrities calling for Trumps murder, civil war or revolution.

Also, I’m not american, I fear that I might share continent with you, your arrogance, combined with your ignorance leads me to believe you are a european “liberal”(that’s classic liberal or some sort of left winger), perhaps France or Germany. Then again I guess you could be anglo saxon of some sort too.

So a mere tax on select foreign goods is all that Trump is doing to protect American industry? That’s a half measure at best.

(He did kinda lose the popular vote, but hey, democracy ain’t important as long as the electoral college disagrees).

Also, i done reckon you should not gamble, cause you suck at guessing. I am from South-East Europe and live in Northern Europe. BUt you’re correct in a sense, I am a “liberal”, in the sense that I do appreciate freedom, but I don’t mind the govt doing stuff. I mean, if I’m gonna pay those turtle necked bureocrats, then I might as well get something outta it (education and healthcare for instance). In the end, I’d rather no govt at all over a sham govt that does nothing.

But yeah, shoo along now, you’re blocking the sun from hitting my arrogantly ignorant face πŸ˜‰

      • Bill

Suckers are born every minute. Never underestimate the gullibility of people being told what they want to hear. And throw in a ball cap, people wil eat of of your hand.

You’ve been scammed, but don’t worry, as you point out, you’ve got lots of company, though we won’t mention the popular vote.

I didn’t vote for Hillary, I voted against Trump. Of two bad choices, I choose the non-obvious con artist.

        • Tassiebush

I often think democracy is more about picking the least bad option and keeping out the worse ones rather than choosing the best.

        • Grindstone50k

Unless you live in a swing state, you didn’t vote for or against anyone in any meaningful way. Yay electoral college and FPTP elections!

    • GhostTrain81

That is my favorite scene from the whole movie. What’s scary is that once you factor out Terry Crew’s acting out of the equation, the rhetoric is not very different than what you hear on CSPAN – bombastic with zero substance.

    • Swarf

      See now, that’s funny.

    • Insomnant

The only present Obama deserves is a few rounds of ammo. I’d be perfectly fine with Trump giving them to him, one shot at a time. Using this gun, preferably.

      • pilotdrh

Well I think the firing pin should be removed so Obama couldn’t hurt himself. I don’t think Trump should shoot him but I’d volunteer for the firing squad.

  • Warren Ellis

My irritation toward Hillary is that she was someone who was completely tone deaf.

She claimed to be someone who understood peoples’ problems, like being jobless due to a local plant shutting down and being offshored, yet was paid
huge amounts of money for just opening her mouth. She doesn’t have to
worry about her job suddenly becoming obsolete or offshored to another
country. She doesn’t have to worry about struggling to pay bills or
putting herself through college (possibly again) to learn new skills.
And she doesn’t have to worry about trying to find a job because no one
is willing to move their plants or jobs or whatever close to where she
lives and thus she doesn’t have to worry about selling her house in a
depressed market and moving to a place that is probably more expensive
than where she used to live.

And no one is accusing her of “white privilege” and mocking her economic
problems because she was born “white.” She doesn’t have to worry about
Chelsea Clinton suffering from a meth addiction and a broken home.

Thankfully I’m not in straits similar to those, being sort of upper
middle-class, yet if I was, who is to say I wouldn’t vote for the party
that while sort of ignoring me also didn’t go after various things I
enjoyed like guns or mocked my economic conditions because I was part of
    the “majority” race/ethnic group?

Identity politics used to be called racism and was rightfully pushed to
the fringes. And then groups like BLM started to mainstream it and the
Democrats and Republicans started to use it as well, and possibly
    believe in it some.

I admit, I don’t like Trump. I did vote for HIllary because I felt that even if she was a crappy choice, he was even crappier. I feel that he just doesn’t really have the understanding on international stuff, or domestic stuff, to be good or okay at being the President.

But at the same time, I can completely understand why people disliked Hillary. She was paid $230 million over 10 years for things like speeches. Just for opening her mouth and saying a speech.

She may have been middle class once. She may have been someone who struggled through college or whatever due to tuition expenses. But that was in the past. The new Hillary, and the new Bill, who at least was smart enough to tell Clinton and her advisors to actually try to reach out to those devastated by job losses in the Rust belt yet was stupidly rebuffed by her and her advisors, are hardly of the “working class” or “middle class” anymore.

This election was bad on all accounts I feel.

I don’t think Trump is any more understanding of the poor or middle class or whatever than Hillary is, but I will say this: he and his team were able to figure out what was angering them so much so whatever my dislike for him, I will complement him on feeling out the pulse of many people. He knew that better than Hillary Clinton did.

  • I’llmakeyouhateme

I can’t believe there’s people crying about a gun with a man’s name on it. Mind you, said man who said he’d preserve the Second Amendment freedoms. And the sole reason these skirts are whining is because Trump isn’t “principled” enough (whatever the hell that means).

I guess being principled means he should’ve lost the election, then written a book about it. If only we’d primary’d Bob Dole, am I right?

But the back sight, slide-stop, hammer have that melted-down polished look I despise (compared to the nice crisp edge at the front of the slide), the Trunp lettering looks photoshopped on, and there’s a million different sizes and fonts of lettering. It’s like looking at the butt-end of an Infinity car (bleh). I don’t care if they outsourced the back sight, if they couldn’t get a sharp one should have made it in house or skipped this current event and settled for attention in a month or two. Also incoherent mix of textures.

If it’s Denmark, I’m gonna fart in the direction of Γ–resund and hope you choke on it.

      • iksnilol

Good God, Denmark is even worse. I mean, Danes are borderline nazis on a general basis, whilst Swedes are the opposite.

        • Identitet14

Nah you are totally wrong, danes are relaxed and way less strict then swedes. Having an almost open border policy like Sweden is insane and is having tremendous negative influence on our society. Denmark is saner, but they also have problems with immigration.

Also you should revisit your stereotype because majority in Sweden wants way less immigration and support for nationalists and conservatives is strong and growing even stronger. Not unlikely that after next election we wont see a left wing government for decades(because support for conservatives and nationalists would be so massive it would not be contestable in an election in the forseeable future).

          • iksnilol

I meant borderline nazis in the sense that they dislike foreigner, I’ve been thrown out/confronted enough times by danes because I don’t consider myself a Norwegian.

          • Identitet14

You should be confronted for immigrating to another country and not adapting. To call people borderline nazis because they tell off idiotic/disrespectful foreigners proves just what kind of person you are…

          • iksnilol

            Confronted for not adapting?

To what extent? I speak the language, I work, I pay taxes, I study and I’ve got no criminal record.

So, what else should I do? Well, except telling you off.

          • Identitet14

You should move back to where you are originally descended. You are obviously disloyal and in a time when more and more foreigners are moving in and refusing to adapt, even taking over entire neighbourhoods and sometimes towns, such behaviour needs to be frowned upon and punished. Living here is a privilege not a right, you should adapt to our ways or move back home, simple as that.

          • iksnilol

You obviously don’t know what adapt means. I’ve adapted well.

So I’m forced to assume you are either trolling me, or are rrally *that* dense.

          • Identitet14

I do know what adapting means, it definetely goes deeper then having a job or studying, if you think that is all it takes, you are the dense one. You are still not loyal to Norway, you still do not consider yourself a norwegian, this is what makes you unadapted.

          • iksnilol

Well, of course i am not Norwegian. Sure, I got a Norwegian passport but I also did keep my Bosnian. No offense, pardner, but you can’t change your ethnicity like you can change your jacket. Only stupid people believe that’s possible.

So because I have not assimilated (AKA given up my individuality to be a second class citizen in one country and traitor in another) I’m not “adapted”. That’s where you’re wrong, buddy. I am perfectly adapted if I speak the language and contribute to society (which I do).

So why am I disloyal? For some reason I am reminded of Japanese Americans during WW2 from your comments.

  • iksnilol

I don’t buy pizza, did buy one obce when my mom was in the hospital last year, then it cost 150 NOK (a large one). And yes, I do spend less. I broke my hand twice, only paid for the cast both times. I don’t got 40k USD studen’t debt for a bachelors degree either. In the US I’d be down the drain for at least 60k USD before I’ve even filled 21.

So I might pay a bit more taxes, but considering that those taxes pay for a lot of tamgible things in my day to day life (college and healthcare for instance).

Also, what’s wrong with women working? You want your wife to just mooch of you/be financially dependent on you? That’s messed up. In the end I think you’re more of a slave than me considering you have to basically work non stop.

What’s that trophy remark meant to reference?
