The festival of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, lord and savior in the Christian religion. More than that, though, the holiday has come to symbolize peace on earth and goodwill towards the people of all the religions and nations on Earth, regardless of belief. In these cold winter months, we remember that peace and brotherhood can flourish in imperfect men, no matter how dark the night may get.
