LockedOn 360 Mobile GunVise

    LockedOn360 Mobile GunVise

Based in LaGrange, Georiga, LockedOn 360 is a company that makes a portable gun vise for steady shooting in the field. Called the Mobile GunVise, the unit is a detachable, two part unit that has a base and the vise itself.

The way it works is pretty straightforward. A metal base is secured to a bench, railing or other fixed point. Then the vise drops onto the base allowing for movement up and down plus side to side. If you are sighting in your gun, the vise can be tightened down to remove play in the system for repeatable shots.

The top of the vise has a padded U-shaped rail that the front hand guard of your gun drops into. A block is then tightened against the hand guard to secure the gun in place. Large hand screws can then be turned to adjust movement.

Since the vise can be removed from the base, you can purchase several bases that you can permanently mount in various locations. There are different base types as well, with a simple 90˚ angle base that allows for an attachment to a wide wood railing or bench. Another base allows for the vise to be attached to a thin metal railing.

LockedOn 360 states these are great for helping with kids who are learning to shoot and hunt, plus they can help increase the enjoyment of a hunt by anyone with a disability such as one that hinders holding a rifle for a long period of time.

A complete kit is $249 while additional bases are $40. Quantity discounts – starting at just two units – are also available and drop the price significantly.
