Fans of the Smith & Wesson Model 41 rimfire pistol who also happen to be suppressor owners, now have the option to join the two worlds. Ray-Vin Enterprises has once again made their “Bully Barrel” available with 1/2″ x 28 threads. The barrels come in two lengths: 5.5″ and 6″ and both include integrated rails for mounting optics.
I have never had the pleasure of shooting a Model 41, but I am a firm believer in making most firearms suppressor ready. Critics may argue about the price, however, like any limited- run custom-machined gun parts, quality doesn’t come cheap. Besides, the gun itself isn’t cheap, coming in at an estimated MSRP of $1389.
I happen to like the look of the “in the white” finish, but owners will have the option to personalize their barrel as they please. I vote for a unique Cerakote color such as Electric Yellow or Safety Orange.
