Earlier this month, Weaver officially launched a pair of new Grand Slam rifle scopes that use the company’s MultiStop turret. Both of the new scopes are variable power models, with one being a 4-16x 44mm model and the other being a 5-20x 50mm model.

The MultiStop turret is a color coded system that allows the shooter to set up quick reference stops specific to your gun, caliber and load. Once you set it up, you can then simply turn to the appropriate color  band that matches the correct distance and align the reticle without the need for hold over.

To help you keep track of which color corresponds with which range, the front lens cap has a quick reference chart on the exterior. When you open the cap, it swings to the side and displays the reference chart.

Weaver has set up a ballistics calculator page (click here to use it) that allows you to print off your own custom reference chart that you can use in the lens cap.

Both of the scopes are argon purged to eliminate internal fogging and use multi-coated lenses that are designed to provide clear viewing from edge to edge.

The 4-16x scope has a suggested retail price of $1,215.45 while the 5-20x model is slightly more expensive with a MSRP of $1,425.45.
