Sometimes I just need a break – a break from writing on the latest releases, bemoaning current superfluous trends, and reviewing firearms from across the spectrum. On second thought… I don’t, I love this job especially with the editors allowing the occasional use of snark.

But, I do enjoy a break or two from the technical coverage and taking a moment to enjoy what firearms are all about… shooting! And arguably, there is nothing more fun that shooting something that arguable serves no practical purpose, like Taurus Judge handguns.

Unfortunately, we have to live a bit vicariously on this one, as I do not own a Judge nor ever will, see earlier statement that they “arguably serve no practical purpose.” However, I am not so blind as to not enjoy it if someone gives me the opportunity to dual-wield them as Andrew does, demolishing the usual set of targets at short range in short order.

The gratuitous slow-motion is as always utterly mesmerizing, especially on the soda pop where the combination of carbonation and shot equal an entertaining expose of physics. Almost as entertaining is Andrew missing the larger watermelons near the soda, which are dispatched in point-blank fashion later.
