Georgia based rifle manufacturer Bergara USA announced that it is now shipping the Premier Stalker Rifles with a new one piece carbon fiber stock. These bolt action guns have a sub-MOA guarantee, and can be used for a range of shooting activities including hunting and long range target shooting.

At this time, the company offers the guns in six different calibers:

    • .300 Win Mag
    • .30-06 Sprg
    • .308 Win
    • .270 Win
    • 6.5 Creedmoor
    • .280 Ackley Improved

The Stalker rifles use the company’s Premier Action that is mated to a 416 stainless steel barrel with a #3 taper. The barrels are 22″ long for short action cartridges and 24″ long for the long action rounds. The gun’s overall length is 41.25″ and 44.5″ respectively.

Bergara normally uses a hand laid fiberglass stocks for the Premier Stalking rifles that are said to be very light weight. These new guns use a one piece carbon fiber stock that is also lightweight and very rigid. Unloaded, these guns weigh between 6.5 pounds and 7.15 pounds depending on the model and barrel length.

Bergara builds these rifles with a Timney 510 curved trigger standard. The safety mechanism is contained within the trigger assembly which allows the gun to be unloaded with the safety in the on position. The gun also has a hinged floor plate.

These rifles have a starting price of $2,190 and are available for shipping how.
