It’s time for some Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR). This is “France” as one of Rainier Arms’ Country Rifles, Ceracoated by Blown Deadline and shown at the IWA exhibition in Germany 2016.

For Europeans it is really strange how the American gun laws can call a short “rifle” for a pistol, due to the lack of (sort of) a stock.

For the record “a Short-barreled rifle (SBR) is a legal designation in the United States, referring to a shoulder-fired, rifled firearm with a barrel length of less than 16 inches (40.6 cm) or overall length of less than 26 inches (66.0 cm). In the United States, an SBR is an item regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) as an NFA firearm. In the absence of local laws prohibiting ownership, American civilians may own an SBR provided it is registered with the BATFE, and a $200 tax is paid prior to taking possession of or creating the firearm.”

Specification wise the receiver set, stock, grip and safety levers are all supplied by Battle Arms Development.

The barrel (with unknown length, but a safe bet is below 16″…) and Avalanche charging handle by Rainier Arms. I not tried it myself, but I have seen better reviews than the Avalanche seems to get, anyone with first hand experience?
