Found this image posted with no context. From just the image alone it seems the person that owned this AR pistol had the muzzle brake tucked back a bit under the handguard. Not sure how many rounds it took but the front end of the handguard broke from the muzzle brake. If someone intends on tucking back his muzzle brake then you need cut outs like the Warsport LVOA handguard or Salient Arms International handguard. Which allow muzzle brake gasses to vent out the side. One good thing is the position of the Strike Industries Cobra AFG. As long as the shooter kept his hand there, he would be relatively safe from the handguard blowing up.
