pix207217832

Axelson Tactical, a family company created in honor of fallen Navy SEAL Matt Axelson in Operation Redwing (as memorilized in Lone Survivor) is auctioning off a tribute rifle in honor of fellow fallen SEAL, Danny Dietz. Only 100 of the rifles will be created by Axelson, serial numbers Dietz01 – Dietz99.

The auction is specifically for Dietz10, which is selected by Danny’s mother, Cindy Dietz. The number 10 is chosen in honor of SEAL Team 10, which Danny was a part of. As part of that Team, SEAL Marcus Luttrell’s Tean Never Quit ammunition is included (three boxes of frangible ammo and three magazines, to be exact.)

Other included items are 3 challenge coins, specifically serialized to the rifle. The coins are packed in custom wooden boxes bearing Danny’s artwork including a warrior couple holding a trident. Additional artwork is engraved directly onto the firearm and accessories.

    horrible marketing

Not to mention Luttrell being a fraud .

      • That_Guy

How is Luttrell a fraud? Genuinely curious …

        • Zachary marrs

Well, his SEAL team was given advice by the Marines on what gear to use, where and when to insert, etc.

Had the SEAL team taken their advice, they would most likely still be here

Also, contrary to the book and movie, and Luttrell’s statements, the more detailed reports only put 8-10 fighters in that villiage, 20-30 in Luttrell’s AAR, but at his speeches he now clames somewhere along the lines of 200

Also, Ahmed Shah was not al-Qeada, nor did he kill 20 Marines

      • Marcus a fraud??? How so? I need more than a blanket statement to believe that.

  • Joe Moore

This is the second time that this has come up. I honor the man, but this “replica” doesn’t look really anything like the rifle that he actually used. I don’t understand that at all.

  • Dickie

I want it just so i can have a serial number with my last name.

  • noob

    Dietz01 – Dietz99= 99 rifles and not 100.

Its that, uh, Jesus….over a random crib?
Or is that God over baby Jesus? So many questions.

    This is an embarrassing rifle.

Maybe they could have engraved his favorite chili recipe on the grenade launcher.

That’s the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus.

Im glad that dude joined the Navy instead of going to art school.

  • Tyree

using that term near-true replica awfully loosely

Can we just stop with all these ~tribute guns~ ? I’m getting tired of it. Especially those guns that are “replica” but aren’t?
