TFB Mourns The Passing Of Pat Rogers

It’s with great sadness that we announce to our readers the passing of Pat Rogers. Pat Rogers was a fine gentleman and one of the finest firearms trainers who ever lived.

Pat was a former NYPD Sergeant as well as a Marine veteran who taught firearms classes for decades to police and civilians alike. He was also an instructor at Gunsite and was still active in working with them on classes. I spoke with the director of training at Gunsite earlier today and one thing he said struck me. Quote: “Pat was one of a kind and when they made him they not only broke the mold they crushed it so there would never be another like him” Mr. Rogers was currently very active in various NRA programs.

Pat was at home this morning with his wife when he suffered a massive heart attack. Efforts to revive him were not successful.

Pat was certainly one of the good guys and was highly respected by those who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends. Funeral arrangements have not been announced as yet.
