Ejecting Brass Trick Shot

bank

Bob posted this slow motion video of his friend Andy shooting a suppressed Sig P226. The brass ejects and bounces off what looks like a sign attached to the end of the concrete bay wall before bouncing off the wall and into the trash can next to Andy. According to Bob, this was a happy accident caught on camera.

      It’s a super secret trick.

  • I was firing my Ppsh41 SMG under a pop up cover and one of the pieces of brass hit the cover and bounced off and back into the muzzle brake landing there just in time for a follow up shot to put a hole through it. Luckily it did not deviate enough to hurt the transferable Ppsh.

I had the guys in the lane next to mine, manage to get a hot spent 7.62×39 case down the back of my neck :-/. Friend thought it was hilarious until it happened to him. Then we talked to them about thinking about where their brass ends up.

For his next trick he’ll bounce the brass up and in front of his gun so that he can shoot it with the next round.

In the boy scouts we had a “trick shot” demonstration. Guy came out and used the same bolt-action .22 we were using to earn the rifle shooting merit badge. Culmination was where he would toss a half-dollar in the air and hit it, then a quarter, then a nickel, finally a dime, shot it out of the air too. Then turned the gon on its side, racked the bolt hard to fling the brass up high, shouldered the gun and shot his brass out of the air. 13-yr old me was VERY impressed.

I’ve always thought that in the opening scenes of the movie “Inception” DiCaprio catches brass from a pistol he’s fired. I’m confident it was an effect, but I’ve seen it done. While wearing a glove.

I did this totally cool trick shoot with a Sig 556xi. They throw brass 50+ ft so I took a shot and hit someone 9 lanes down from me with my brass. He pretended not to notice probably because he was so impressed

managed to eject a round of 7.62x54r from my mosin into my brother in law’s pocket one time. I was pretty proud of myself.

My friend got cases stuck up his nose from an M&P45.

    Sweet video….

Who wears a bra at a shooting range anyways?

That just traps brass and other debris.

I did a trick once where I worked the bolt so fast/hard that the brass bounced off my palm and landed back in the chamber.

First time I experienced a doublefeed (kinda) in a bolt action.
