I am surprised how often I am surprised when something benign is tacti-cooled and in this case, its even a pun! MTEK, a company I have not heard of before, is offering the M12 Tacticoozy. Designed for field choice beverage, the Tacticoozy even has a ejector strap for “instant discarding of empties.”
Talk about a tactical reload…
It has everything a gear nerd would want (and thus everything I would want – I know, its ironic I lament on new tacticool things and yet yearn for each new one). Designed for 16 oz “Tall Boys”, the Tacticoozy is manufactured from 1000D Cordura to “stand up to the ugliest social situations”. From there, a 6mm neoprene liner keeps the contents at the original temperatures, despite the operator’s operation. A Duraflex keeps all this tactical-ness contained.
The Tacticoozy is MOLLE / PALS compatible requiring three rows for solid mounting, ideal considering most AR series magazines require the same. Its currently available in multi-cam only, so Marines you are out of luck (ironic, as a Marine, I would see this as the highest consumer of choice beverage branch of service).
