Ontario Knife Company recently introduced a pair of new folding knives. The first is the Dozier Arrow knife, and the second is the Carter Prime.
Dozier Arrow
The Dozier Arrow was designed by knife maker Bob Dozier and is intended for every day carry (EDC). This folder has a blade made of AUS-8 steel with a spear point. The 3.63″ blade has a hardness rating of 56-58 HRC and is 0.125″ thick.
This knife uses G10 laminate for the handle. It has an aggressive texture for a good grip. Machined into the handle is Dozier’s signature arrow. The knife has a steel liner lock.
Dozier Arrows can be had with either a stone washed blade or a black powder coated blade. The stone washed version retails for $78.95 while the black one lists for $81.50
Carter Prime
Another folding knife, the Carter Prime is tough and may be a great choice for anyone who spends time on the water. Designed by Robert Carter, this sheepsfoot style knife has a blade made of D2 tool steel that provides superior corrosion and stain resistance. Additionally, the handle is made of corrosion resistant titanium.
The blade is 3.37″ long had has a black stone washed finish. According to the company, this knife serves well in both a utility role and tactical role. The suggested retail price of the knife is $144.95.
