HB Industries has released a nontraditional safety selector for the CZ Scorpion Evo III pistol and rifles. Dubbed the “AK Style Safety Selector” for its manipulation techniques, the safety selector is purposefully elongated for those looking for the “sweep” style motion typically used on the AK platform.

The AK Style Safety Selector (perhaps I could dub it the “A.S.S.S?”) is a drop in replacement for the factory safety selector. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum, the ASSS is then MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized and finished with laser etching.

The ASSS does not look to be compatible with the full-auto versions of the Scorpion Evo III. (I’m not sure I would want it to be, as then the selector would get in the way of the trigger finger).

MSRP for the HB Industries Scorpion EVO III AK Style Safety Selector (what a mouthful!) is priced at a reasonable $28.95. It is available immediately through HB Industries’ website. The ASSS is 100% designed and manufactured in the USA.
