Kruger Optical Dual Tactical Sight Carbon Fiber Optic

Kruger Optical has been busy in the shadows of the market working to create a line of carbon fiber housed optics. The first of which is their Dual Tactical Sight 1-8×40 which features an innovative fusion of a 1x red-dot optic or a 2-8×40 zoom scope scope.

Each sight is operated separately from one another except for the mirror system used to switch from one optic to the other. Windage and Elevation adjustments are separate as well (as they should be, unless one has figured out the secret to aligning optics perfectly). For the scope portion, the elevation dial is locked with an unlocked indicator.

The red dot optic side is equipped with a 4 MOA dot and comes with Kruger’s “Rapid Target Technology” eyebox. The 2-8x optic is a standard MIL-DOT reticle (no word on if they will offer other reticles).

Like other high-end optics, the scope is purged of standard air using argon as the internal inert gas. Also, the optic is claimed to both water and fog-proof. Mounting is accomplished via an integral picatinny rail mount.

Pricing is not listed on their website, but with carbon fiber, two integrated optics, and a 2-8x power scope, I cant imagine this being “cheap” or even “inexpensive.” Adorama confirms pricing at $1,499 off of a MSRP of $1,763.53.
