2016 marks the 150th anniversary of Winchester and the company is pulling out all of the stops to celebrate. The booths for Winchester Repeating Arms and Winchester Ammunition are filled with historic displays, commemorative product, and modern reproductions of some of the most famous firearms in history. Attendees can sign up for a chance to win an anniversary rifle, and it’s a beauty. Also on display is the Model 1873 that was discovered leaning against a tree in Great Basin National Park. It’s on loan from the National Park Service.
Another historic gun on display is a Model 1866 “Yellow Boy”. This particular rifle was manufactured in 1871.
