Scopecoat Slideboot

Earlier this month Scopecoat announced the acquisition of Slideboot. I had the opportunity to take a look at the Slideboot line of products at Scopecoats’ SHOT Show booth. The Slideboot is a neoprene cover for pistol slides which protects them from scratches and moisture while being transported or stored in a safe. They come in a number of sizes for striker fired to hammer fired sub-compact to full size pistols.

According to the company rep I spoke to they are oil resistant as well, preventing oil from getting onto safes. They are able to customize the color and logos printed onto the covers for larger orders. The MSRP ranges from $20 – $30.

I keep a lot of worn out socks employed as improv pistol covers. Not sure I need these.

And closet door shoe organizers are great for holster storage.

Another answer looking for a question. You can get a full gun rug cheaper and better.

You can just buy neoprene and some safety pins to make a lot for the cost of just one of these. I use neoprene sleeves to organize my electronic cables.
